We chose Italian crepe for the Helsa Sabine Dress because of its exceptional drape and recovery. This woven fabric contains a small percentage of elastane, giving you just enough stretch for all-day comfort while maintaining its structured shape.
The crepe’s subtle texture adds visual interest without pattern, making the Sabine incredibly versatile for accessorizing. Our garment is fully lined with breathable acetate to prevent transparency and create a smooth silhouette against the skin. French seams throughout ensure durability and a clean interior finish that looks as polished as the exterior.
Fit & Sizing
The Sabine Dress runs true to size with a tailored fit through the bodice and relaxed A-line skirt. The waist seam sits at your natural waistline, creating definition that flatters every body type.
For reference, our fit model wears a size 4 and measures 5’9″ tall with a 34″ bust, 27″ waist, and 37″ hips. The midi length falls approximately 2 inches below the knee on her frame. If you’re between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a more relaxed fit through the bodice. The dress hits mid-calf on petite frames under 5’4″ and can be hemmed by your local tailor without disrupting the silhouette.

Yes, the Sabine is fully machine washable. Turn it inside out and wash on a gentle cycle in cold water with similar colors. Tumble dry on low or hang to dry, then remove promptly to minimize wrinkles. The Italian crepe fabric is naturally wrinkle-resistant and maintains its beautiful drape wash after wash.
The Sabine is a midi-length dress that falls approximately 2 inches below the knee on our 5’9″ fit model. For petite frames under 5’4″, the dress typically hits mid-calf. For taller women over 5’10”, it may fall slightly above the knee. The A-line skirt construction makes it easy for your tailor to adjust the hem without affecting the silhouette.
The current design does not include pockets in order to maintain the clean, streamlined silhouette that makes the Sabine so universally flattering. We prioritized the drape and flow of the Italian crepe fabric, which would be interrupted by pocket construction.
