We source our signature stretch crepe from a family-run mill in Northern Italy that specializes in performance textiles with a luxury hand-feel. The fabric blend contains just enough elastane to move with you throughout the day while maintaining its shape beautifully—no sagging or wrinkling by evening.
Every Helsa Amber Dress is cut and sewn in our Los Angeles atelier using French seaming techniques that create clean, flat interior finishes. The self-tie belt is reinforced at the attachment points and finished with blind-stitched hems that won’t show through the lightweight fabric. We chose covered snaps at the interior wrap closure to ensure the neckline stays secure without any visible hardware.
Sizing & Fit Guidance
The Amber runs true to size with a forgiving fit through the wrap bodice. We recommend ordering your usual size for a classic fit that skims the body without pulling. If you’re between sizes or prefer more ease through the waist, size up—the adjustable tie allows you to customize the fit.
Measurements by Size
Size Small fits bust 32-34″, waist 26-28″, hips 36-38″ with a 40″ length from shoulder to hem. Size Medium fits bust 36-38″, waist 30-32″, hips 40-42″ with a 42″ length. Size Large fits bust 40-42″, waist 34-36″, hips 44-46″ with a 43″ length. Our model is 5’8″ and wears a size Small.
Care Instructions
Machine wash the Helsa Amber Dress on a delicate cycle in cold water with like colors. We recommend using a mesh garment bag to protect the fabric during washing and avoid washing with anything that has zippers or rough textures that might snag the crepe.
Tumble dry on low heat or hang to dry—the stretch crepe releases wrinkles naturally as it dries. If needed, steam or iron on a low synthetic setting while the dress is slightly damp. Never use bleach or fabric softener, as these can break down the elastane fibers over time and reduce the fabric’s recovery.
